The DavWell Green Project successfully gathered wellness advocates, therapists, and spa owners led by President Sum Butiong for a meaningful tree-planting activity at Layag Peak, Brgy. Kilate, Toril, Davao City.

Through “Wellness for the Earth,” we affirm our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the wellness and spa industry. Together, we nurture the land that nurtures us. 🌿💚

Davao Wellness & Spa Association (DavWell) General Membership Meeting (GMM)

DavWell held its 1st GMM with an engaging exchange of updates and learnings among members of Davao’s wellness community.

The City Health Office of Davao City shared important reminders on sanitation compliance and standards, emphasizing the role of proper sanitation permits and employee health certificates in ensuring customer safety and business continuity.

Meanwhile, the Department of Tourism – Davao Region discussed DOT accreditation and its many benefits, including strengthened credibility, access to training opportunities, and inclusion in the country’s official tourism promotion platforms.

The session became a valuable venue for members to reconnect, learn, and reaffirm their shared commitment to professionalizing the wellness and spa industry in Davao City. Together, we say NO to indecent acts.

Through initiatives like this GMM, DavWell led by President Sam Butiong continues to champion health, wellness, and service excellence, uniting spa owners, managers, and practitioners to build a stronger, standards-driven wellness sector in the region. 🌿✨
