I was devastated. I spent almost the whole day in the hospital, crying, trying to stay strong for my children. Because I still needed to raise money, my surgery was delayed for a month—and in that short time, the cancer quickly progressed to Stage 2B.

After my mastectomy, I started chemotherapy. I thought I was prepared, but nothing prepares you for the physical pain, emotional breakdown, hair loss, depression, and the financial burden. My treatment cost reached ₱1.2 million.

I completed 3 cycles of chemo, but after the third cycle, my body could no longer handle it. I was already anemic, weak, and completely exhausted. I decided to stop.
