When I was informed to receive an award - one of the prestigious award somewhere there, I was really flattered and I was so aware that it was not as easy as we can thought, getting that distinction... I had a high regard to our officers and elders in establishing the rules and guidelines in obtaining an award....however, despite being flattered and grateful for being "close" with one of the leaders, I thought, I might not be too happy and too qualified as I was thinking receiving that award could be just like "buying your excellence" ... but, it was not like that, the worst thing is knowing that, this prestigious award became cheap and "low key", my respect and concept of putting them to pedestal was all fallen to ruin (however realizing after this event, I was then and now more than qualified).... now unbeliever of this award...for so many reasons that I can no longer recount...nevertheless, am still grateful...
