The Mentor - BUCE

𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | Reaching a goal is never easy. Doing so while facing challenges every step of the way is even harder. The path may not always be smooth, but obstacles serve as lessons that help open the next chapter of life. Therefore, those who work hard will find their struggles worthwhile once they reach the finish line.

The Mentor Publication congratulates its Official Honor Graduates. These individuals dedicated themselves to serving the students of the College of Education through its official publication, balancing the demands of academics and student journalism with unwavering commitment. The sacrifices they made were rewarded with the recognition they deserved.

Now, it is time for them to walk down another road with confidence, ready to embrace the responsibility of future educators and inspire the next generation. Their footsteps carry the values of scholarship, leadership, character, and service, as well as the principles that The Mentor holds as its core.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | The Bicol University College of Education Batch 2026 gathered for the Baccalaureate Mass on June 11, 2025, at St. Gregory the Great Cathedral in Legazpi City, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

Presided over by Rev. Fr. Raphael Leonardo M. Siapno, the Eucharistic celebration served as a moment of prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving for the graduating pre-service teachers as they prepare to enter a new chapter of their lives.

The new set of Bicol University College of Education's College Student Council (BUCE CSC) were formally proclaimed into office in the Turnover and Oathtaking Ceremony conducted yesterday, June 10, 1:00-4:00 PM, at the BUCE CTE Hall.

This marks the beginning of the newly elected officer's service to the college for the upcoming Academic Year 2026-2027. | 𝘷𝘪𝘢 𝘑𝘢𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵 𝘓𝘰𝘺𝘰𝘭𝘢, 𝘕𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳

‎After months of anticipation, the Bicol University College of Education (BUCE) officially receives the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗘) 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—an award befitting the college's title as the Center of Teaching Excellence.

‎The award, examined and given out by the Teacher Education Council (TEC) at around 5:00 PM today, is a testament to the college's commitment to elevating the craft of teacher education and demonstrating outstanding achievements in research, community engagement, student development, teacher preparation, faculty qualification, and student/graduate attributes.
‎
‎Being one of just THIRTEEN CoEs—five National CoEs and eight Regional CoEs—from among the Tertiary Education Institutions (TEI) in the entire country, the college was able to clinch the award thanks to the intensive preparation of the faculty and stakeholders.

‎Truly, this is a stellar display of CEnian excellence on the highest level. Congratulations to the entire BUCE Community!

The State of the Students' Address (SOSA) was held last night, May 29, 2026, at the Bicol University College of Social Science and Philosophy (BU CSSP) grounds.

This initiative of the Bicol University - University Student Council (BU-USC) aimed to acknowledge the outstanding performance of its partners, student leaders, student organizations, student publications, and offices that have continuously worked to serve the student body and uphold student welfare. | 𝘷𝘪𝘢 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘢, 𝘊𝘰𝘱𝘺 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳
