“This is 4 years in the making.

How many times I tried but I failed. I remembered crying so hard on my last Miss B attempt, after the announcement I really can’t help but cry on stage and after that I was at the backstage crying my heart out for an hour. My people knew how much I thought I’ll never recover from that heartbreak, that I can’t look at my phone the day after that, that I would wake up crying, thinking all day about my what ifs.

Rejoining Miss Bicolandia 2025 was the greatest leap of faith I’ve taken this year. My family and friends were skeptical not because they didn’t believe in me, but because they were afraid of seeing me shattered again. They had seen how much it hurt last time.

But this year, I met the bravest version of myself. When I decided to return, I wasn’t expecting anything. I didn’t feel entitled to bring home the crown. I only knew one thing, I would give it my all. And whether I won or not, I would walk off that stage proud because I knew I had poured everything into it, and I would still serve and uplift others wherever I could.

Miss Bicolandia became more than just a crown. It became a symbol for every person who may never get the chance to step on that stage, for every little dreamer who dares to dream big.
This is how I honor the younger me and every young dreamer out there.
