DID YOU KNOW? 📝Your child has to learn basic lines, strokes, or shapes even BEFORE letters and numbers?Our toddlers only become aware of letters between ages 2 to 3. This is also the time they try to draw and write. But before the alphabet, they have to learn PRE-WRITING SHAPES!These are lines and shapes, that can be used to FORM LETTERS! They include the directional movements of ☑️ horizontal, ✅ vertical, ☑️ diagonal lines, and ✅curves.💟 Double-tap to know more about IMITATING PRE-WRITING SHAPES! As parents and teachers, we can draw the shape BEFORE and WITH THE CHILD so that they can WATCH and IMITATE THE MOVEMENTS. Imitating movements is EASIER for our little ones, as they don’t have to plan (or remember) the movement needed. 📝 WORKSHEETS are another form of imitation, as they give children a template to work with. They have a guide to tell you where to START, the DIRECTION of the line, and where to STOP.
