For semi-permanent makeup brows, the healed result is far more important than how they look immediately after the procedure.

✅Immediately After the Procedure
(Day 1–3)

Right after your appointment, brows usually look:
• Darker and bolder (30–40% darker than final color)
• Slightly red or warm-toned
• A bit sharp or blocky
• Mildly swollen

This is completely normal. The pigment is sitting fresh in the skin, and the skin is slightly inflamed.

Once fully healed, brows should:
• Look softer and more natural
• Be lighter in color
• Blend better with your natural hair
• Have more realistic definition
• Sit comfortably in your face without looking harsh

✅Why Healed Results Matter More?

Semi-permanent makeup is a two-step process:
1. Initial session
2. Perfecting session (touch-up at 6–8 weeks)

Artists intentionally go slightly darker and more defined at first because:
• Pigment fades during healing
• Skin retains color differently
• Adjustments are made at touch-up

Judging brows on day one is like judging hair color while it’s still processing.

⚠️ Red Flag vs. Normal

Normal:
• Too dark
• Slight redness
• Strong shape

Red flag:
• Uneven depth
• Blown-out pigment
• Incorrect shape symmetry (beyond swelling)
• Very deep gray/blue tone immediately

Always remember, all skin heals differently.
There is no exact day when it will scabs or end scabbing or even exactly when it will heal.
