•Drug/Alcohol Addiction Prayer•

✝️ God in Heaven,
I bring everyone that is weighed down with drugs and alcohol addiction before Your throne of grace. Free them from addiction and give them the strength to handle the pressures that cause them to fall back into alcoholism and drug abuse. Help them to know that You have forgiven their past, present, and future sins and that they are no longer under condemnation. Lord, You are the One Who came to set the captives free and to release the sinners from the chains that bind them. Lord, I know some addicts personally and others that I know nothing about — but You know everyone that is enchained by the curse of drug/alcohol addiction. Look with compassion on all that are ensnared by any form of addiction and send help and freedom to all who would accept help. Lord, I pray so that they may be released from this imprisonment and returned to a life that has dignity and meaning. Open their hearts to the truth and break the influence of the enemy over their lives. Let the resurrection power that raised Jesus from the dead bring healing unto their damaged organs that have been affected by alcohol and drugs. Let your grace be upon them that they may go through the recovery process without falling back to their old ways. Grant them wisdom so that they can choose the right friends who will help them become clean and useful people in Your Kingdom. Endow them with patience, understanding and perseverance, knowing that this can take time to address. More than anything Lord I pray for their Safety and Salvation. You died for every drug/alcohol addict and it was Your love for them that caused You to die on the cross of shame that they might be lifted up and seated with Christ in Heavenly Places. Oh Lord, please help those that are broken. Thank You Lord.

EFFECTS OF TAKING DRUGS

Drugs have different effects depending on the drug itself, the person taking it and their surroundings. Taking drugs can affect not just your physical and mental health, but your whole life. Just one pill can kill you.

Taking drugs don't just affect your physical body and health, they can affect your mental health, your finances, your relationships, your social life and your criminal record.

Each drug causes different physical reactions, depending on the type of drug. Some will make you feel more awake, alert and energetic. Others will give you a calm, relaxed feeling. Some alter your perceptions and can cause hallucinations. Others may make you feel numb.

Long-term use and larger doses have negative effects that can seriously harm your health, even cause death, including disease risks from sharing needles, and permanent damage to the brain and other organs.

So, Now be aware about the effects of drugs in our lives, don't let drugs ruins your life because drugs is not worth the risk. It can harm or even kill you.
