This filipiniana Gown unfold a Modern Woman with a classic perspectives. Solihiya is essentially thin strands of rattan woven into sunburst patterns. When used as the backrest and seat of chairs and lounges, it lets air through, providing comfortable rest in the tropical heat. Anahaw is a symbol of resourcefulness for Filipinos in everyday life. Sampaguita flowers is believed to symbolize purity, fidelity.

The Gown embodied Solihiya, Sampaguita and Anahaw in a fabric manipulation techniques, coutured with solihiya and pleated fabrics, embellished with pearls, crystal beads and Swarovski. Embarked with purity and glamour in every details of handcrafting.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒 🔥 Our designer is wearing an Anna Cheung Couture blazer with T'nalak weave. T'nalak is a sacred cloth woven by the T'boli people in communities around Lake Sebu, Mindanao island. The weaving of T'nalak was a practice observed by women who were referred to as “dream weavers,” as it is believed that the designs and patterns were sourced from images in their dreams, as handed by the spirit of the abaca, Fu Dalu.
