At the Philippine Medical Association Annual Convention 2026, held on May 13โ16, 2026 at EDSA Shangri-La Manila, PAPSHPI was honored with a Certificate of Merit and formally recognized by the PMA as an Affiliate Society, marking another significant milestone in our organization's continuing growth and contribution to the medical profession.
PAPSHPI also received a Testimonial of Merit in recognition of the exemplary leadership of our President, Dr. Sigrid Monina Marquez. We proudly congratulate Dr. Maica Vergara for being named Most Outstanding Physician 2026, a well-deserved recognition of her dedication, excellence, and service to the medical community.
Adding to this proud moment, PAPSHPI members Dr. Butch Ong and Dr. Maica Vergara shared their expertise as lecturers during the convention, showcasing the depth of knowledge and leadership within our society.
