A Historic First for the PDS 💫

For the first time in its history, the Philippine Dermatological Society joined the Philippine Medical Association General Assembly as an official voting delegate during the 119th PMA Annual Convention last May 15, 2026.

Beyond participation, PDS took the lead in advancing conversations on skin health, aesthetics, patient safety, and dermatologic emergencies through two scientific sessions moderated by PDS President Dr. Jasmin Jamora and PDS 1st Vice President Dr. Liza Marie R. Paz-Tan.

The convention also recognized outstanding PDS members, leaders, and residents for their excellence in leadership, service, and research, reflecting the society’s continuing commitment to raising the standard of dermatologic care in the country.
