🌟 I was a bit hesitant to post this since the room's lighting isn't the best. The wall color kind of affects how our work looks. But here it is anyway!

👰‍♀️ Here's the lovely matron of honor, Shiela, . I used a traditional makeup technique to correct and enhance her features.

✨ This neutral tones makeup that is softer and yet has sparkle and glitter is a look after my own heart. It was fun for her because she doesn't usually wear makeup.

Keep in mind that the best makeup artist has many objectives: how you look in person; what is going to suit the lenses of the photographer and videographer; what makeup works in a variety of lights- natural indoors and outdoors as well as day and night; plus of course what brings out your best features and style of the hair and gown. So don't be too quick to wipe it off if you don't like it, at least ask why they have chosen to be more heavy/light/bright/muted etc than you would have yourself. That said if you feel they have gotten completely wrong don't be scared to speak up and have the makeup worked on until you are happy and feel comfortable to keep on going with the day.
