Northern Luzon Command joined in the observance of the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2022 on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Camp Aquino, San Miguel,Tarlac City.

PHILIPPINE NAVY RESCUES INJURED PAKISTANI NAVY AT SEAWATERS OF ILOCOS SUR

Troops of the Naval Forces Northern Luzon under the Northern Luzon Command immediately rescued and provided medical attention to two injured Pakistani Nationals were identified as Lieutenant Commander Mudassir Aziz Tamimi (Executive Officer) who was suffering from leg and arm fractures, and Zia-Ul-Islam (Chief Petty Officer) who had head injuries and was unconscious during the time of medical evacuation.

A member of EOD died after his service firearm went off, while cleaning, hitting his head inside their military camp in the town of Sultan Kudarat Maguindanao del norte.

Lt. Col. Julhamin Asdani, chief of Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station, identified the EOD personel as Pfc. Mark Anthony Pagarigan died from a bullet wound in the head.

Pagarigan, single, of Camiling, Tarlac, belonged to the 1st Explosive and Ord'nance Disposal Platoon based in the camp in Barangay Pigcalagan of the Army’s 1st Brigade Combat Team.

He was pronounced dead on arrival by an attending physician at the private Mount of Blessings Hospital in nearby Pigcawayan town in Cotabato where companions rushed him for treatment.

Pagarigan superior told reporters that the cadaver expected to transport to his family in Tarlac province.
