How to Maintain Your Weight on Eid-ul-Azha 🥩
You can enjoy BBQ, biryani, desserts, and family gatherings, without feeling bloated or gaining extra weight.
1. Don’t Skip Meals:
Many people “save calories” all day and then overeat at dinner.
2. Follow the Plate Method:
Try to balance your plate:
½ plate = salad/vegetables
ÂĽ plate = protein (beef/mutton/chicken)
ÂĽ plate = carbs (rice/roti)
3. Don’t Drink Your Calories:
Soft drinks and sugary juices add a lot of hidden calories.
4. Eat Slowly:
Your brain needs time to feel full.
Eat slowly, enjoy the food, and stop when you feel satisfied, not stuffed.
5. Be Smart With Desserts
You can still enjoy sweets:
Take smaller portions
Share desserts
Pick one favorite instead of trying everything
6. Don’t Turn 3 Days Into 3 Weeks:
One heavy meal won’t ruin your progress.
The real problem starts when Eid eating habits continue afterward.
Focus on Balance, Not Restriction:
