This ancient flu remedy combines the immune-boosting properties of garlic and ginger, both well-known staples in traditional medicine. Recognized for their anti-inflammatory and antiviral benefits, this soup may help alleviate flu symptoms and promote overall respiratory health.

Ingredients:

8 crushed garlic cloves

1-inch grated fresh ginger

A pinch of cayenne pepper

1 diced carrot

4 cups of water

Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Bring the 4 cups of water to a boil.

2. Add the crushed garlic, grated ginger, and diced carrot.

3. Boil for 5 minutes, cover, and allow the mixture to steep for 10 minutes.

5. Consume 2 to 3 times daily for relief.
