_On the special directions of Honorable Madam Nadia Saquib, Secretary Health & Population Department Punjab, and Worthy Mr. Asif Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Layyah, a comprehensive visit was conducted to DHQ Hospital Layyah to assess the provision of quality healthcare delivery services and review the overall functioning of the hospital._

📍During the visit, the Chief Minister's Inspection Team was present to assess the provision of healthcare delivery services.

📍The team was accompanied throughout the visit and was briefed on the ongoing operational activities and healthcare initiatives being undertaken at the hospital. The briefing was jointly provided along with the Medical Superintendent (MS), DHQ Hospital Layyah.

📍After reviewing various service delivery areas, the CM Inspection Team expressed satisfaction with the provision of healthcare services in line with the vision of the Honorable Chief Minister Punjab.

_The team appreciated the efforts of the CEO DHA Layyah and the MS DHQ Hospital Layyah for their effective administration, supervision, and commitment to improving healthcare services._

📍During the visit, various departments including Emergency, OPD, Indoor Wards, Labour Room, Operation Theatre, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Diagnostic Services were inspected. The availability of medicines, cleanliness standards, patient care, infection prevention measures, and attendance of staff were thoroughly reviewed.

*Instructions were issued to ensure:*

* Continuous availability of essential medicines and medical supplies.
* Improvement in cleanliness and infection prevention protocols.
* Timely attendance and professional conduct of all healthcare staff.
* Provision of patient-centered healthcare services.

*1. Visit to THQ Hospital Kot Sultan*

On the directions of Honorable Madam Nadia Saquib, Secretary Health & Population Department Punjab, and Worthy Mr. Asif Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Layyah, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), District Health Authority (DHA) Layyah, conducted a detailed visit to THQ Hospital paid a comprehensive visit to THQ Hospital Kot Sultan to assess the quality of healthcare services being provided to the public. The Medical Superintendent (MS), along with his management team, accompanied during the visit and briefed the ongoing operational activities and healthcare services.

During the visit, the following departments were inspected:

- Emergency Department
- OPD
- Labor Room
- Operation Theatre
- Indoor Wards
- Pharmacy
- Laboratory
- Vaccination/EPI Center
- Mother and Child Healthcare Services
- Hospital Record and Registration Counters

Reviewed patient care services, availability of medicines, cleanliness, infection prevention and control measures, staff attendance, and overall hospital management. Interaction was also made with patients and attendants to obtain feedback regarding healthcare services.

*2. Interactive Session with Ulema and Social Influencers*

Along with Dr. Mahtab Ahmad (DPWO) held an interactive session with respected Ulema and social influencers regarding population welfare and family planning initiatives.

*1. Monitoring of Community Health Inspectors (CHIs)*

_On the special directions of Honorable Madam Nadia Saquib, Secretary Health & Population Department Punjab, and Worthy Asif Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Layyah, visits were conducted to various locations in Tehsil Choubara to monitor the performance of Community Health Inspectors (CHIs) and to improve health profiling coverage._

📍Special monitoring teams were constituted under the supervision of the Director DHDC, DDOH Tehsil Choubara, DSC, SH&NS, FP EPI, DSVs, and ASVs to assess field performance, verify data quality, and ensure improvement in health profiling coverage across the tehsil.

📍During the monitoring exercise, field activities were reviewed and necessary directions were issued to ensure data accuracy, strengthen monitoring mechanisms, and enhance health profiling coverage in all assigned areas.

*2. Visit to THQ Hospital Choubara*

_In line with the vision of the Honorable Chief Minister Punjab for the provision of quality healthcare delivery services, a visit was conducted to THQ Hospital Choubara._

Dr. Muhammad Saqib Gondal, Medical Superintendent THQ Hospital Choubara, along with his team, accompanied the visit and briefed on the ongoing revamping activities and operational performance of the hospital.

Following departments were inspected:

- Outpatient Department (OPDs)
- Inpatient Department (IPDs)
- Gynecology Services
- Emergency Department
- General Ward
- Blood Bank

- Improve cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the hospital.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
- Ensure full functionality of the Blood Bank and improve blood stock availability.
- Expedite the renovation of the Family Planning hospital building to establish a dedicated Pediatric Ward.
- Improve the overall outlook and physical appearance of the hospital premises.

*Visit Report – MNS THQ Hospital Thal*

_On the direction of Honorable Madam Nadia Saquib, Secretary Health and Population Department Punjab, and Worthy Asif Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Layyah, visited MNS THQ Hospital Thal to assess the provision of quality healthcare delivery services to the community._

During the visit, the DMS accompanied and briefed regarding the ongoing operational activities and functioning of the hospital.

The following areas were inspected during the visit:

- OPDs and patient flow management

- Emergency services

- IPDs and patient care facilities

- Availability of medicines and medical supplies

- Cleanliness and sanitation arrangements

- Attendance and performance of staff

- Functionality of diagnostic and laboratory services

Special emphasis was laid on ensuring quality healthcare services, availability of essential medicines, proper management of patients, and implementation of departmental directions in true spirit.

2. Inauguration of Dialysis Center at THQ Hospital Chowk Azam

_Under the supervision of Worthy Asif Ali Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Layyah, District Health Authority Layyah in coordination with Pakistan Medical Aid (NGO) established a dialysis center at THQ Hospital Chowk Azam._

_According to the vision of the Government of Punjab, Health Department Punjab is taking proactive measures to improve the infrastructure and overall environment of healthcare facilities at all levels, including GRDs._

🔹In this regard, visited GRD 82/TDA to monitor the ongoing revamping work being carried out at the facility.

🔹The quality of construction and renovation work was thoroughly checked to ensure compliance with departmental standards and use of durable materials.

🔹During the visit, DDOH Tehsil Karor was directed to closely supervise and monitor the revamping activities to ensure timely completion and maintenance of quality standards throughout the project.
