Today we will see why your dietitian suggests you to eat more colourful fruits and vegetables.

Eating a variety of colourful fruits and veges ensures you're getting a variety of nutrients🌈

Some examples are:

🍅🌶🍎🍒🍓🍇🍉
Red fruits and vegetables like tomato and beetroot contain lycopene and anthocyanins which are excellent antioxidants and protects heart.
🥕🌽🥔🍊🍋🍌🍍🍑
Yellow/Orange fruits and vegetables like carrots, bananas and sweet potatoes contain Vitamin A and potassium for healthy eyes, muscle regulation and fluid balance.

Happy New year🥳

Today we'll be talking about something motivational that is setting some goals to achieve them or stick to them in the long run.
Setting goals is so important as I've learned. It gives you something to look forward to, something to look towards and it can be literally anything. Something big or small.
Others might say this is "common sense" but to me, the following are things I know one should be doing (because they make me feel good) but obviously there are sometimes when i skip them.

These things are:
- Exercise and Yoga
- Drink enough water
- Never skip breakfast
- Read
- Meditate and manage stress
- Take your medications or supplements
- Make a to do list
- Manage your sleep timings
- Keep cleanliness a proper habit
- Minimise distractions
- Motivate yourself with rewards

I hope these tips help you to achieve your goals this year around. Hope you guys have a prosperous and healthy year with your loved ones around❤️

Topic of the day holds immense importance for a healthy and happy life....

Our body has proper timings of everything we do from waking up to performing our daily activities to sleeping and this cycle is called CIRCADIAN RHYTHMS.

Melatonin is released between 10pm-2am via pineal glands as a part of the cycle or clock that our body is following. It is a hormone that regulates various functions of body for maximum health benefits.

But our inactive lifestyles and over usage of mobile phones specially at night have disturbed this cycle and has lead us to various diseases and disturbances in our body.
