Erinaceidae

Hedgehogs (lat. Erinaceidae) is a family of Afro-Eurasian mammals of the insectivorous
order (Eulipotyphla, or Lipotyphla) [1].

According to the 2005 Mammal Species of
the World, the family includes 10 living genera with 24 species[2].
