How many times have you heard that you need to have your own style as a makeup artist?

Well, it's all nice and great, if you have the adaptability and frameworks that help you change said "style" depending on your clients' faces. But if not... You're just keeping yourself (and your income) stuck.

"Makeup is too saturated" is an excuse all beginner muas gave at some point...
But truly it just means you have no idea how to stand out ⛔️

If you still think that if you just keep posting, clients will somehow find you, I've got some bad news...
Good eyeshadow skills and nice makeup are not the same as being a good makeup artist ❌
A good MUA can showcase each person's individual beauty and highlight their best features... Whilst good makeup is just a nicely done, prettily blended look that's the same on everyone. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT!

One of the most common reasons for my clients' makeup separating? They just watched too many online tutorials and now pile skincare products right before makeup - which, surprisingly, is THE WORST thing to do...

If you keep commenting on TikTok videos asking for tips with your issues - no matter the good will of a makeup artist, a GOOD one won't actually help you.

Counterintuitive? Maybe.

But a good makeup artist knows that they need a lot more information than the fact that your makeup peels or concealer creases - because the causes of that are different for everyone.

If you are hoping for a quick solution - you won't get it. Because whilst most of my clients DO get QUICK RESULTS, the way to get to the ROOT problem is longer than they thought.
