Though I was looking for a bb cream in Sephora, i stumbled upon this “Peach perfect comfort matt” foundation by ‘Too Faced’. Upon trying the tester, i fell for it instantly.
🍑Its a medium coverage foundation, creamy on application and gives a velvety yet a natural matt finish.
🍑I am totally impressed by how it feels on my skin and by its lasting power. It doesnt clog my pores and im able to remain shine free for quite a few hours. In the later hours i simply blot my face with a blotting sheet and thats it, Im good to go for the rest of the day!
🍑This foundation comes in a tube with a pump which makes it easy to handle. One important thing to keep in mind is that it carries a peachy scent, which i dont mind at all, but some may actually not like it.
Using it over a month now and for me, its my current fav these days✌ 😍

We are talking about primers today!! But my focus will not be on the price, rather on the product viability cuz afterall wat matters to us in the end is if it really works for you or not!
The star of my talk today is the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer but i will also mention my experience with a few others ive used over the time. Btw when choosing primers, we have two main options in the market; silicone n water based. Ive used both kinds n here ill share my experiences with both.
To start off, water-based primers r 'supposed' to be best for oily/combo skins as thier texture is lighter n they dont clog pores. In this category ive used the Kiko "Matte face base" n the Catrice "keep me matt" primers. But sadly these didnt do much of anything, making me feel it was pointless to continue using them. The Catrice primer is creamy n surprisingly, feels more like a moisturizer, so maybe it'll work for the dry skin girls, but then this brand isnt marketing it properly by labelling it as a mattyfying primer!
I used the Kiko primer till i finished the whole tube, hoping it would work one or the other way (as it cost me a good 80 Qrs😬), but other than giving me an instatnt cooling sensation, it didnt do its job of keeping me matte at all, if thats the least i expected it to do!
The Hourglass "veil mineral" is an oil/fragnance/paraben free primer BUT silicone based, and call it a pro or con, this one is an exception as no silicone based primer has ever lasted on my oily skin like this one...and i say this cuz all the others that ive tried, n the list includes the "Porefessional" by Benfit, "Baby skin" by Maybelline, which are both silicone based primers too, would just slide off my t-zone as if i didnt put anything in the first place!
The hourglass primer, is costly for sure but so far its the best ive come across, it instantly evens out my skin n makes my makeup last longer. So whenever ive to spend lots of time outside, this helps me avoid frequent touchups! If i could change one thing abt it would be the white cast it carries which I believe its due to spf 15 in it. But it def doesnt interfere with the rest of my makeup so thats not an issue!
Now tell me abt ur fav primers and any recommendations u may have in comments below🥰💕⬇️

Inglot (Part 2):
Inglot has a really amazing eyeshadow collection. They are very pigmanted and creamy but this also depends on which range u r selecting the shades from cuz according to their website, they divide n name thier range as follows:
🟣Pearl: satiny to slightly shimmery frost finish.
🟣DS(double sparkle): these are satin(semi-matte).
🟣AMC(advanced makeup component): This collection is perspiration resistant, contains vitamin E, and is talc-free ..😍
🟣AMC Shine: Same as AMC above, but more finely milled so these have a bit more sheen to them.
My mini gold palltte that u see in the pic has shades from their pearl range(the dark brown one) and their AMC shine(the gold and bronze). All three have very beautiful but sublte sheen to them n also look lovely when applied. But the most striking feature is the pallete itself isnt it?! It looks so chic! This is inglot's ‘Freedom System’, where you can customise your make-up palette in any way you choose. You choose your palette size (ranging from 1 shade right up to 20) and then you add in whichever eyeshadow, blusher, highlighter shades u choose. The palette base is magnetic, so you simply slip your pans in whichever order you like and they will stay locked into place.
🚫One drawback btw is that while sliding lid off, u could accidently touch/damage the shadows. Happened to mine already( to the gold shade)! So have to be careful while handling it!
I have added a pic of their other palletes(randomly taken from the web). Its a popular opinion among many that their eyeshaows r almost like the MAC ones. There are obviously many other palletes in the market that are equally good (or mayb even betteyesh
🌹Have YOU tried any makeup from Inglot lately? Do comment n share your experience!!⬇️

I won't rave about "inglot" being my ultimate fav brand, as i have not tried all of their products yet.But they are really popular for their "amc gel eye liner", super pigmented eye shadows and their create-your -own-palette "Freedom system" .Im my case, it was their 'amc gel eyeliner' that first drew me to this brand. Btw inglot is a Polish brand founded in the 80's, so has been around for quite a long time in the market, though in Qatar they opened around 5 yrs ago(if im not mistaken!).
So coming back to the gel eye liner, this one comes in several shades(green, blue, brown n few more), i got the black one, the shade 77 which is:
🌟 immmesely pigmented and the deepest shade of black
🌟very matt; something im always seeking in an eyeliner.
🌟 waterproof; to the point that it takes a good while to take it off, n u will need an oil based makeup remover to wipe it off your lids n still have to work it abit to remove it.
🌟 it retails at Qr 99, which no doubt is expensive!
🌟 But the MOST IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind:
This liner, like most other gel liners, will eventually become dry n cracky, and according to inglot, u need to add a drop of their "Duraline" to revive this liner back to its original form. This "duraline" alone retails at Qr70. Price-wise its expensive no doubt, but if u check online u will find it has multiple uses and other than reviving your gel eyeliner, u can use it in your dried out mascaras, lipsticks etc.
To sum up, this liner is great but for me personally the problem is that since its so difficult to take off, i have limited it to occasional use only for me to find out later that it is already dried out when i open it.so yeah to make it survive/function properly ull have to put a drop of duraline in it everytime.Overall u will need to purchase both itmes together n that means a bit of extra investment n i know not everyone will appreciate that.

Saw these cute masks yesterday at Carrefour. At first glimpse i thought they are specifically for kids. And it says on the back "sheet mask size is for adults but children can use it" .. but the benefits mentioned like collagen boosting, skin firming and lifting are definitely not meant for children. Though the unicorn character mask that says "purifying and soothing" could be a safe one for kids...still i recommend children younger than 12 shouldn't really use these things. Btw "epielle" is a Korean brand and honestly im not "yet" a fan of Korean beauty..
Which korean products have u used so far? Any recommendations?!😊😊

Say hello to my new mascara🥰This is Too Faced's "Damn girl", launched in 2019 but so far the latest in their mascara collection.
🌟First things first, Its not waterproof but its long lasting. It didn't make my lashes stiff like other mascaras ive previously used which is something i really like and came off easily with my makeup remover. It didnt smudge either so yeah wats wrong with a non waterproof mascara?! But yes a tip for the very oily girls would be to mattify/powder your eye area well before u apply this mascara!
🌟The main features abt this mascara r mentioned clearly on the pack as u can very well see in the pic above. Swipe to the next pic for more detail that's mentioned on the back of the pack.
🌟Too faced has another mascara, the BTS( check online), which is a HG for many, but "damn girl" is said to be the newer and an improved version of the BTS. I've not used that one so cant compare but i sure love the "damn girl".
🌟As shown in the pic above, it has a wide wand with big bristles towards the ends so it takes a single swipe through, to coat each lash sufficiently, making the lashes look fuller n darker. But because of its bigger edges have to be careful not to smudge it over the rest of your eye area.
🌟The formula is a bit dry yet after application, it doesn't clump, atleast not in my case.
🌟The best thing about this mascara is that it comes in two sizes. The travel size retails at Qr60 (its a decent enough size) while the standard one for Qr 120. For first time try of course ill suggest u go with the smaller one!
Do i recommend u buying this mascara? Totally yes👍esp if ur looking into buying a high end mascara y not try this one?!
🌟There are many varieties of mascaras out there. Which one are you using and wat do u like abt it most?😊
🌟The Anastasia's "Lash Brag" mascara also comes in travel size pack and retails at the same but after reading the reviews i found "too faced" one is better. Let me know if uve used that one.ive uploaded a pic of the anastacia's mascara too for reference!

This is the "Cover fx Custom Enhancer Drops" in shade "Moonlight". It came in my sephora limited edition box that i bought sometime back, and though i was sceptical of using a liquid highlighter, since i never used a liq one before, i completely fell in love with it once i applied it. This highlighter comes in 7 other shades(u can check online for that), but "moonlight" happens to be the one for me. It looks goldish in the pic but trust me it isn't "golden" in that sense.
It can be used in multiple ways, apply it directly with fingers or mix it with your foundation/serum for an overall glow. Another way could be to use it on your eyes as an eyeshadow. Btw it is really pigmented so even a drop or two is more than enough..i use my fingers to spread it across the high points of my face n it melts ever so smoothly, giving a very subtle sheen. U could def go over board with additional drops for a more dramatic look!
