The main vayus are prana, apana, samana, udana and vyana. These vayus carry out the main functions in different areas of the body.

The karanas are commonly described as dance positions but they have much deeper significance.

The root meaning of 'karana' is 'that which causes things to happen'.

Karana is the name of one of the twenty-eight mula-agamas (teachings) of Lord Siva and deals with the ankle region of the human body.

This region of the body is intimately linked with the reproductive organs and all water-related functions within the body.

Между тем, с рождения в нашем распоряжении есть оборудование, которое постоянно с нами. О его возможностях мы, обычные люди, имеем в основном, смутное представление. Речь идет о системе тело-ум, которая интересует нас, мягко выражаясь, далеко не в первую очередь, имея огромный потенциал. Так вот, самый интересный гаджет – это ты. Приходи, будем изучать.

🍁 The Autumn & Spring Equinox 🌺

Our daily routine is important during the seasonal changes and, as such, it is recommended that the following steps are followed on a daily basis.

~ Wake-up before sunrise ~

Rise just before the Brahma Muhurta. Immediately before rising, sit and reflect on how one feels.

Brahma Muhurta is 96mins (4 ghatikas = 24 minutes) before sunrise.

It is the optimal time to start one’s sadhana, as all of the winds in the body are resting in their correct place. At night the winds retire into their place of origin. When the Brahma Muhurta begins, the winds slowly move into their space in the body.

By the 96mins they have reached their full bloom, receiving the energy of the morning sun, and are ready to act for the day.
