Nu går jag in i vecka 40 och det betyder att jag snart ska bli mamma! 😍❤️ Jag kommer därför att ta en paus för mammaledighet och vet inte exakt när jag är tillbaka. How to protect your Microblading during summer ☀️

Using sunscreen on your microbladed brows is crucial to protect the pigment from fading due to UV exposure.

Here are detailed tips on how to effectively use sunscreen to safeguard your brows:

1.Wait Until Brows are closed: Do not apply sunscreen directly on your microbladed brows until 14 days has passed since you did your treatment.

2.Choose the Right Sunscreen:
Opt for sunscreen containing zinc oxide. This ingredient sit on top of the skin and physically block UV rays without causing irritation, making them ideal for sensitive, healing skin.

3. Ensure the sunscreen offers broad-spectrum protection: it means a shields against both UVA and UVB rays.

4. SPF 30 or Higher: Select a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 to provide adequate protection.

5. Avoid Chemical Sunscreens: Some chemical sunscreens contain ingredients that can irritate the skin or affect the pigment. Stick to physical sunscreens to minimize any risk of irritation or adverse reactions.

By following these guidelines, you can protect your microbladed brows from the sun and help the pigment remain vibrant and longer-lasting.

Microblading typically lasts anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on several factors including the individual’s skin type, lifestyle, and how well they maintain their eyebrows after the procedure. Over time, the pigment implanted during microblading can fade due to factors such as sun exposure, skincare products, and the body’s natural regeneration process. Touch-up appointments is necessary every 6 to 18 months to maintain the desired appearance and color.
