There are 2 types of fibers - soluble and insoluble.
Soluble fiber can lower LDL, lower absorption of fats and sugars, manage body weight.
Insoluble fiber is a natural cleanser which helps to detox, prevent constipation and hemorrhoids.
Fibers maintain the balance of probiotics in our gut, increase the vitamin created by probiotics and suppress harmful bacteria.

How to nourish your immune system with Nutritional Immunology?
With all today's medical advances, many diseases are still incurable by available drugs. Even when drugs can cure diseases, they usually come with side effects, sometimes worse than the disease itself.
For example, available drugs today are not able to cure viruses. They merely shorten and lighten the symptoms that are caused by viruses. You recover from illnesses because your own immune system works for you to fight off viruses that cause these illnesses.
Your immune system is the core of your health.
When it is strong, you can resist illnesess without a single sniffle. Even when you do have illnesses, the length and intensity of the symptoms you experience correlate with how strong your immune system is. The stronger your immune system, the lighter your symptoms and the period for you to recover is shorter.
Your immune system is the best doctor in the world. If you nourish and take care of your body, your body will take care of you.

Have you heard about the Science of Nutritional Immunology?
Nutritional Immunology studies the effect of nutrition on the immune system. It goes beyond basic nutrition like protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins and minerals. These nutrients are easily avilable to us today. Instead Nutritional Immunology looks at three types of essential nutrient.
1. Antioxidants
2. Phytochemicals (phytonutrients)
3. Polysaccharides
Nutritional Immunology studies the types and species of plants with the most antioxidants, phytochemicals and polysaccharides content. It studies the parts of plants with the most nutrients. For examples, grape seeds are rich in OPC (antioxidant compound oligomeric proanthocyanidin, is found in extracts of grape skin and grape seeds) is a very powerful antioxidant, and ginseng berry is even more poweful that ginseng root.
Nutritional Immunology also studies the best age to harvest and the best ways to process plants to prevent nutrient loss. For examples, mushrooms must be harvested when they are young, but cactus is more nutritious when it is older. Soy must be heated well, but cactus cannot be boiled.
Nutritional Immunology is a very complete science. It has discovered and is still discovering the various benefits of the plant world. Its mission is to spread the gift of knowledge and health wisdom to mankind, thereby creating a disease-free world. It is a preventive science over cure.
