2012 Tracy would never have imagined this.

Back in 2012 when I was a Mary Kay consultant, we were asked to share our I-Story. Everyone seemed to do it so naturally, but I was so stressed that I broke down halfway while speaking. That moment stayed in my mind for years.

For a long time, speaking in front of people was something I feared deeply.

Even when I joined a business networking group in 2023, I would rush through my introductions because I felt nervous.

As a Professional Makeup Artist, I was invited a few times to conduct group workshops, but I always declined because I felt that people would have higher expectations from professionals and I wasn't equipped to teach groups professionally.

Then one day while preparing for this event, a podcast by Vinh Giang started playing on my Spotify. Later I also watched a podcast he did with Jay Shetty.

Both of them shared something that stayed with me. No one becomes good at speaking on stage overnight. It takes years of practice.

So I followed their advice.
I wrote a script, practiced in front of the camera, listened to how the words sounded, refined them, checked my gestures and practiced again and again.

There is still so much to improve, but the preparation really helped.

I’m truly grateful and honored that my first time presenting a Full Makeup demo as a Professional Makeup Artist was alongside Hadassah (founder of ) and Sabrina (founder of ) on 7 March 2026.

Hadassah called me in January and said she felt God telling her to do an event with Sabrina and me. Thank You Daddy God for orchestrating this, and thank you both for being obedient and willing.❤️❤️

Thank you to all the beautiful ladies who showed up and thank you my dear model Hannah!! The event wouldn’t have been the same without you.

Full Makeup presentation in 15mins was something I never thought was possible. Truly with God nothing is impossible.

Braided Ponytail for Beautiful Bride Rachel to last through her dinner Wedding banquet!

Initially she wanted to have half up half down hairstyles for day and night but the tricky thing about half up half down hairstyles is, as much as they look beautiful and dreamy, when the hair is not placed nicely, it can look messy.

Met beautiful for her Bridal Makeup back in Dec 2024, and I had asked her then if she would be open to be my model for some content. She said yes and today we finally got to make it happen! 😍

Beautiful Bride Grace

Daddy God, You are truly amazing.

After announcing I would start giving again in March, I began inviting people to model for me but somehow, either the content didn’t feel right to post, or the meetings got delayed.

Having paused my bridal work for a while, I felt the desire to take in bookings again, but I knew I couldn’t force inquiries or control when the lighting or filming would be ideal. Still, I trusted that in God’s time, everything would align.

Then on 18 July, Grace reached out, and by 20 July, she confirmed her booking.
And that same day 20 July was the day I honored my very first Heart to Art Workshop. My friend Lavender had wanted to book me for a full-day shoot, but I chose to keep my promise to the workshop. I didn’t earn from it, but my heart was overflowing with joy. And when Grace’s bridal booking came, it felt like God’s way of blessing and affirming that decision. ❤️

Fast forward to 1 November, the day of Grace’s wedding.
We had a cozy dressing space to do the Bridal Hair and Makeup at. In the makeup video part, a white light expanded into a cross throughout and my tripod kept needing to be moved during the Hairstyling process yet miraculously, the hairstyling process was still beautifully captured.
Thank You, Daddy God, for Your presence and Your signs of love.

It was such a heart warming session because while I did Grace’s makeup, her mum and relatives were in the same room, singing and practicing their song for the couple🥰

People sometimes ask if I regret pausing my bridal bookings in 2023.
My answer is a big, heartfelt no. That pause was sacred. It allowed me to claim back my identity as Tracy, a child of God not just Tracy the Makeup Artist. And I got to live more instead of always being busy with work, appointments and life.

And though that season could have stripped away all my clients, it instead deepened my gratitude. Every single client I get is truly from God, in His perfect timing. How can anyone take what was meant for you by divine appointment?

God’s timing is always perfect. Thank You, Daddy God. ❤️
And thank you, Grace, for being part of this miraculous reminder of His grace in my life.
