📣 WE ARE BACK with a very special announcement! Our website is now LIVE and ready for you! 🥳

I’m the least techie person in the room and know nothing about creating websites from scratch. After soooo many months of doing online tutorials and bugging my husband to troubleshoot, it’s finally here! Hope I did enough to make the ordering process fun and easy for you. Do let us know if we need to make any changes too. Your feedback is most welcome, so we can continue to improve.😅

Now, we’re gearing for the busiest months yet — from Teacher’s Day to Children’s Day, Christmas, birthdays, weddings, and so many more in between. Looking forward to spend the second half of 2025 filled with new and exciting milestones. Thank you so much for your continued support. 🫶

When was the last time you felt like nostalgia really hit hard? I guess this was me a week ago after finishing Atiya’s farewell gifts for her classmates. Just like Atiya, my eldest daughter is also graduating from K2 soon. In fact, that’s all she talks about lately — how busy they have been rehearsing for their graduation concert and how excited she is to show us what they worked hard for. Whenever I think about her graduation, I always tell myself “oh that’s still in November”. But now that we’re down to the last few days of October, it’s becoming more and more real to me that this chapter is ending sooner than I thought. How did it happen so fast?

Somehow, I’m reminded of butterflies and all the changes throughout their life cycle. From an egg to a caterpillar, a pupa, and finally, an adult with wings — ready to conquer the world. Like butterflies, we also undergo complete metamorphosis. However, the difference lies in how these changes are perceived. Life as we know it is busy, chaotic, and way too fast. These changes which slowly unfold into our lives become underappreciated fleeting moments. We keep moving forward, forgetting to pause and say goodbye to what has been. And when that sudden wave of nostalgia hits, we are overwhelmed with emotions. There’s a sense of warmth and joy as we relive those memories, but the yearning can also be very painful. Nostalgia often comes unexpectedly, but it is a blessing. We get a second chance to embrace those fast and fleeting moments in a richer and deeper way.

It took me a while to pack this order because I realised how motherhood has really changed me. We often hear people say, “kids grow up fast”. They really do, but I guess it is also because we’re too busy raising them the best way we can — wearing so many hats and living each day like a marathon. Nostalgia reminds us that there is so much beauty in being present and allowing ourselves to experience things in slow motion. If we’re not present enough to appreciate these life transitions, then we’ll just be surprised one day that a beautiful butterfly has already emerged.
