Hair for Hope is Children's Cancer Foundation's annual iconic fundraiser.

Organised by Children's Cancer Foundation, Hair for Hope is the only head-shaving event in Singapore that serves to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer. Every shaven head represents an understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. HfH also provides an opportunity to garner support from the public in the form of monetary pledging. By volunteering

Who shaped you?

Behind every person is someone who quietly shaped their journey.

A family member. A teacher. A friend. A role model. Sometimes even a stranger whose kindness arrived at just the right moment.

As you reflect on the people who made a difference in your life, remember that you have the opportunity to do the same for someone else.

Through Hair for Hope, you can help shape a child's journey.

Whether you shave, donate, volunteer, or spread awareness, every act of support makes a difference. Register at hairforhope.org.sg. Walk-ins are welcome.

Together, let's show children and families impacted by childhood cancer that they don't have to face their journey alone. This is our shared journey.

"Wait... is Hair for Hope a hair donation drive?"

We have been asked about this so many times... so we thought we'd answer it the best way we know how.

Hair for Hope isn't about donating your hair. It's about making a BALD Statement.

For children undergoing cancer treatment, losing their hair isn't a choice. By shaving your head, you're making a visible act of solidarity to tell them:
"It's okay to be bald."
"You are not alone."
"We're walking this shared journey with you."

Every shaved head helps normalise baldness, challenge stigma, and reminds children with cancer that an entire community is standing beside them.

Register now at hairforhope.org.sg or join us as a walk-in shavee on 25 & 26 July at VivoCity.

Let's show every child that hope looks a little stronger when we stand together.

Jordan, who once walked the childhood cancer journey himself, stepped forward to encourage his friends to join him in standing with children facing cancer.

He shared his story at school, speaking about his own experience with childhood cancer and inviting his classmates to stand in solidarity with children and families facing the same journey today.

Inspired by Jordan, his friends chose to shave their heads alongside him for Hair for Hope.

Every shave is a reminder that no child is on this journey alone. 💛

"Will the children know we are shaving our heads in solidarity with them?"

For many children undergoing cancer treatment, losing their hair isn't a choice. It's one of the hardest and most visible reminders of the journey they are on.

In this video, children from our PALS Preschool, Primary and Secondary programmes share what it means to see a community choosing to shave their heads alongside them.

To them, every BALD Statement means something. It tells them that someone sees them beyond their diagnosis. That they are not facing childhood cancer alone.

To everyone who has shaved their heads in support, thank you. Your bravery gives courage to our children and reminds them that an entire community is standing beside them, every step of the way.

If you have yet to make your BALD Statement, join us at the Hair for Hope Main Event on 25 & 26 July at VivoCity. Together, we can show every child and family that they are not alone in this journey.

If our children could leave you with one message, it would simply be:
"Thank you for being on this journey with us."

This is what bravery looks like.💛

Meet Faith, a remarkable 9-year-old who saw a Hair for Hope poster in her community and decided she wanted to shave her head for children battling cancer.

When asked why, her answer was simple:
"I just want to make them happy again and less alone."

Faith shaved her head the day before returning to school. Was she afraid of going back bald?

"No," she said. Instead, she wanted to tell her friends about Hair for Hope and why she chose to shave.

Thank you, Faith, for reminding us that courage has no age, and that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

Every BALD Statement made can be an encouragement for someone.

Last year, SATS was at Hair for Hope's main event as a group. This year, they took their commitment one step further by organising their very own Hair for Hope satellite event, choosing to amplify the message of childhood cancer awareness and encourage even more people to stand in solidarity with children battling cancer.

Thank you SATS for showing us what A Shared Journey means.

When partners like SATS rally their colleagues, friends and communities, the message reaches even further: no child with cancer should ever have to walk this journey alone. Every shaved head helps normalise baldness and reminds children undergoing treatment that they are accepted and supported by an entire community.

You can make a difference too join us on 25 & 26 July and make a BALD Statement.

"The hardest part isn't always hearing, 'You have cancer.' Sometimes, it's hearing, 'The cancer is back.'"

In January, Hair for Hope 2026 Ambassador, Iymran, was looking forward to getting back to a sense of normalcy. School. Basketball. Time with friends. He thought the hardest part of his journey was behind him.

Then came news from a routine scan in April 2026, which revealed a cancerous lump. For a moment, his excitement to return to the things he loved paused. But Iymran made a choice. Instead of letting this setback define him, he chose to use his journey to inspire others. Today, he proudly shares his story because he wants every child battling cancer to know this:
"I see you. I know this journey has its ups and downs. But you are not alone."

When Iymran looks out at Hair for Hope and sees a sea of shaved heads, he doesn't just see people. He sees a community standing with children like him. A community reminding them that being bald is nothing to hide.

His BALD Statement is one of courage, hope and resilience.

Will you join Iymran in making yours?

💛Join us on 25 and 26 July for Hair for Hope 2026 by shaving your head. Together, we can remind every child battling cancer that this is a shared journey, and they don’t have to face it alone.

"This was my first time shaving my head. It wasn't an easy decision—but it was one I wanted to make." Kim Ho, SATS employee & first-time Hair for Hope shavee.

For Kim, this wasn't just about shaving her hair. It was about taking a personal step in solidarity with children who lose theirs during cancer treatment—not by choice.

While she couldn't change what these children are going through, she could choose to show up in a meaningful way. This year, she took the leap and shaved her head for the very first time, sending a simple but powerful message to every child facing cancer: it's okay to be bald, and you are not alone.

Every shave helps build a community where children and families feel seen, accepted and supported throughout their cancer journey.
