When I received this brilliant script for AIA Singapore from the Socialyse folks at Havas Singapore, I knew it would allow me to draw inspiration from my own experiences as a naughty ‘boyboy’ growing up in the 90s to help convey an important message to Singaporeans.
Thanks to an amazingly talented cast, crew and my guys at BREED, we managed to bring this funny, heartfelt film to life and to say I’m proud of what we’ve achieved is a massive understatement.
On a personal note, this project also reunited me with my longtime art partner AC Ngai to reignite some of our old creative magic. Hope you guys enjoy it, and do look out for a longer cut from me soon!
