Every day is already new so why do we hesitate when it comes to change?

Fear of trying something new can show up in many ways: fear of failure, lack of time or resources, low confidence… and that’s okay. The key is noticing it, starting small, and leaning into curiosity.

Challenging our brains with complex activities can help keep them adaptable and resilient as we age. Studies show that learning a new language, practising a musical instrument, dancing, or engaging in sports that require coordination and strategy can support neuroplasticity – the brain’s ability to form and strengthen new connections. By staying curious and active in these ways, we’re not only building skills but also supporting long-term brain health.
