It’s been slightly over a month since Boutiques Singapore where we had the inaugural launch of Chewy Claws!

And for those of you who are new to Chewy Claws and didn’t manage to get yourself some at Boutiques, what we did at Boutiques was to actually personally size each and every one of your nails!

We tried out the 16 different sizes (0-15) over your nails and then recommended the exact sizes that fit your individual nails. We did this because of 2 main problems we wanted to solve in the industry:
(1) Fit anxiety – standard sizes don’t always fit
(2) Wastage – box sets come with 32 different pieces when you only need 10

One common question we got from you guys though was ‘oh so does this mean I can only buy from you during Boutiques?’

Well of course not and thank you everyone for your kind patience in waiting for us to bring this online!

And I’m happy to announce that we will also be providing an AI-powered digital nail sizer on our online store! This will allow you to upload a few pictures of your nails, and our nail sizer will recommend you to the most appropriate size to fit your nails!

Being an online brand, it’s always the most amazing experience seeing and meeting all of you in person. Especially when I can finally put a face to your IG username!

I had so many heart warming conversations this weekend with so many of you that really touched my heart and I want to share some of them here with you! So here’s the first one!

It started when I saw this mother-daughter pair making a set of 3 beautiful custom nail polish. I asked them if this was their first time at our booth and she said that it was the first time for her 8-year old daughter, but that she’s been buying our products since the time I was based out of one-north.

I was shocked because one-north was pre-Covid times and since then I’ve moved office 4 times!

When I mentioned that to Melissa she was like yeah back then I found your brand because I was pregnant and was looking for safe nail products.

And then it dawned upon me - the daughter she was pregnant with when she first discovered our brand, is the same daughter that’s now here making her own custom nail polish!!!

I’ve always thought about how I’d like for Nail Deck to live beyond my own life and cross multiple generations. But I never thought about it from our customers’ point of view that our products can also cross from one generation to the next!

And the thought of that warms my heart greatly🥰🥰
