Jared's Skin Eczema

At first, I noticed Jared constantly scratching his hand, even during the night while he was asleep. I saw a few blisters on the pinky finger of his right hand, and initially thought it was just a mosquito bite, so I didn’t pay much attention to it and didn’t take it seriously.

However, a few days later, his condition worsened. Instead of improving, the itchiness intensified, the redness increased, and the blisters burst. His entire finger became very dry, with the skin constantly peeling. The peeling areas started to hurt, and I noticed red spots and itchiness appearing on other fingers—and even his toes. Because of the relentless itchiness, Jared became irritable and frequently lost his temper. He kept scratching while he slept, and even asked me to scratch for him. At this point, I realized this wasn’t just an ordinary mosquito bite. My first thought was eczema.

I decided to take Jared to see a doctor, who confirmed it was the early stage of eczema. The doctor suggested that it might be caused by excessive heat and sweating. He prescribed ointment, moisturizing cream, and antibiotics. Since I am familiar with nutritional immunology and prefer to avoid antibiotics for such a young child, I decided to use nutritional immunology foods to help him recover.

Every day, I gave him half a pack of Rhapsody, half a pack of RosyTime, two packs of Emunity, one and a half packs of SoyPro, one pack of FiberTalk, two packs of BerryBeat, and one pack of GojiGarden. Besides focusing on nutrition, I also took great care of his hygiene. I bathed him at least four times a day—once using soap and the other times with just water—and then applied rose hand cream and put on socks. I diligently washed his hands and feet, and after each wash, I would apply more rose hand cream. I also made sure to wash the children’s clothes separately from the adults'.

After a week, I noticed the redness began to fade, and the peeling and dryness reduced. He no longer scratched as much. After two weeks of following this routine, his skin was completely healed. I know that eczema is often difficult to treat and can easily worsen, but I’m very thankful for Dr. Chen’s development of nutritional immunology food and knowledge. Thanks to this, I was able to care for my child’s health and help him recover so quickly.

Why is gut health so important for overall wellbeing?
Our gastrointestinal system serves as the main portal for our body’s ability to process the nutrients that our body needs. With more than 80% of our immune system and the majority of our body’s serotonin, it also acts as a disease fighter and communication center connecting the immune and nervous system.
If your gut isn’t healthy, then your immune system and hormones won’t function, and you will get sick.
Research is also showing us that our gut microbiome can affect every organ in our body.

Always happy to help my friends gain back their health, slowly but surely.

Prevention is always better than treatment.

We only have one health, and we shouldn’t abuse it.

Daily maintenance and practicing healthy lifestyle is always a smarter choice than waiting for our body to wear out and diseases strikes.

We are what we eat.

Eat more wholesome plant foods and less red meat šŸ˜‰

Recently chanced upon a posting that kind of reminded me: We often have so many things on our To Do List, but do we have a To Be List?

Be happy
Be calm
Be loving
Be healthy
Be awesome

Live the the life we want, be true, be ourselves. šŸ¤

Did you knowā“

šŸ“Œ An organic label is no guarantee of food safety.
šŸ“Œ Not all products that are labelled as ā€œmade from plantā€ are safe.
šŸ“Œ Different types of plant can be categorised as poisonous, medicinal or safe to consume.

How well do we know exactly what types of plant foods we are consuming? Or simply because hearsay is ā€œmade from plantā€ so should be safe?

Many products in the market are effective, but consumers need to dig further and understand what and how exactly these supplements come about before we feed it to our body. Personally, I feel it’s a one way traffic. What goes in our body and what it does to our body, we cannot reverse it back. Shouldn’t we all be more stringent in our choices?

From trying to ā€œencourageā€ 🤣 her to drink to now she is chasing me for her soya drink everyday. She can drink 3 sachets a day!

I choose plant based protein: Soy bean 😊
Soy bean has protein 2 times higher than meat, 3 times higher than eggs, and 12 times higher than milk!

And a wholsome soybean has nutrition like 9 essential amino acids, fiber, phytochemicals, antioxidants, fatty acids, minerals, vitamins, etc.

Delay aging, prevent osteoporosis, prevent cancer, prevent cardiovascular disease and reduce risk of diabetes.

So, are you consuming more animal proteins, or plant proteins everyday? 🧐

Cactus is a very unique plant food that has so many benefits to our human body. I once heard from a friend that she tried to cook cactus on her own and it’s so yucky! Not to mention how much nutrients has lost during the cooking process. After all, we are not the professionals!

I’m ever thankful that Dr Chen concocted it into such a nice beverage, yet retained all of its nutrients! From 2000 over stringent testings to the packaging, everything is carefully produced by our very own manufacturing plant. It is safe for babies to elderly, and throughout these years, we have many awesome testimonials of people winning back their health.

We advocate that prevention is always better than cure, or rather, ā€œtreatmentā€ because medicine does not cure. The best doctor in the world is our immune system. Take care of it, and it will take care of you. šŸ’–
