If we could count our blessings, Lyn Holland-James is at the forefront. She’s not only a mother but a great one. On this Mother’s Day, we are celebrating you and all what you do for us. We pray for good health and long life . Happy Mother’s Day our very own mama of the house. We love you very plenty

Today, we graduated with our Masters Degrees in Communications and Development Studies from the Faculty of Communications, Media and Information Studies, FBC-USL.

It’s a great privilege to have my wife Lyn Holland-James on the journey. When we enrolled for it in 2021, it became challenging and exhausting at some point. We got married, established a family and had our first child within the period. We had to study, do several research, do virtual and physical presentations and attend classes too. While doing all of these, we also were engaged in the daily operations of our different work places. E nr b funny 😄

At some points, we were drained and really exhausted, especially when the newest family member, joined us. He needed and still needs our attention so much. He’s too playful and likes playing with either of us, even when he wakes up at night.

We did this for and his siblings. We have set the bar for them. In our views, Masters is only but the beginning. It’s the The Holland-James Clan’s requirement. Ezra will be brought up upholding this (by God’s grace), and he will in turn ensure and do same.

My wife and I chose communication, they can choose any area and we will surely support them till they satisfy the Clan’s requirements.

I honestly do not see it as competition or feel inferior to my partner for having 3 academic certificates (all together). I’m even encouraging her to study more. The family wins big when you are all capacitated and the children get to enjoy and see you both as their mentors. They also get to know that they have no option but to be very serious with their lives.

As I celebrate this day in God’s grace, I want to reflect on all the many blessings I’ve received from God in the past years. Being a husband, a father and bagging an MA in the last year is a very huge favor from God. E nr easy o, but if e easy, do am😀

My wife, Lyn Holland-James has been my biggest pillar in all of these. She even got me this dress of many colors.😋
