St. Barnabas Business College announces 40 scholarship for basic computer literacy program

St. Barnabas Business College has announced a scholarship opportunity for 40 South Sudanese students to pursue an intensive “Basic Computer Literacy” course aimed at enhancing digital skills among young people across the country.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the Academic Registrar, the scholarships will be awarded to students selected from South Sudan’s 10 states and three administrative areas.

To qualify, applicants must be South Sudanese nationals with proficiency in both spoken and written English. Successful candidates will only be required to pay the admission form fee and certificate fee upon completion of the course.

The college emphasized that female applicants are highly encouraged to apply for the opportunity, as part of efforts to promote gender inclusion in education and technology.

“All lectures will be administered at St. Barnabas Business College in Juba,” the statement read, adding that the deadline for submission of scholarship admission forms is October 30, 2025.

Lectures for the program are scheduled to begin on November 3, 2025, with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions arranged to accommodate students under the management program.

This is to remind you that the handing over of the leadership is scheduled to take place tomorrow at Rio Hotel near seven days roundabout.

Registration will start at 8 : 00 a.m., and those whose names are not in the list will not be allowed to vote or be involved in any election process.

Both financial and administrative reports will take place at 10 : 00 am. you are therefore asked to come very earlier and witness the reports. Office will not be answerable to any concern raised about the reports after they are concluded.

On the same note, the office didn't and will not arrange transportation to the venue.

Our Chairperson, Mr. Bol Deng Majak, attended the dissolution of the Apuk Olympics Association's leadership at the South Sudan Hotel.

*ANNOUNCEMENT*

The family of Late Paramount Chief and Jurmananger Community announces to the public that the body of the *Late Paramount Chief Madut Madut Deng*, known as Madut-makuoc of the Jurmananger Section of Apuk Giir Community shall be airlifted to Gogrial East County tomorrow, July 11, 2025, from Juba International Airport.

The body will be laid to rest on the same day in his house in Awutwut Village.

We, therefore, request all the family members, community elders/leaders, mourners, and friends, to converge at Juba Funeral Home along Bilpham road at 6:00 AM where the casket will be taken, and to accompany it to the airport.

Late Madut Madut, who passed away on July 1, will sadly be missed by many.
