The Prayer Room

Often i have related on this page concerning meal times for family and how they bring you together as one. I still do emphasise eating together as a family often and i would like to add the most important thing a family can do together too.

PRAYING TOGETHER as a family for " It is written, ' Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God"

Come together as a family and seek God's guidance. No matter how young your children are, make the time and have a place to pray together as a family.

This not only sows seeds in their lives but you are seeking God's Kingdom concerning your family and prayer is timeless, it will meet your children years after protecting, guiding, providing council, wisdom, favor, peace, sound mind and the guidance God gives to you as a family is priceless.

The Truth About Bonding With Your Children.

I do not know if you have noticed each time you desired to bond with your child or children, the measures to that become more imeasurable because of the demands of life.

Well guess what, your creating a strong relationship and bond may need you to do things for your children and with them. I know working fulltime or other demands take their toll but you may need to do certain chores or activities with your children yourself without your nanny.

I talk things like wake a bit earlier prepare them for school, prepare their lunch boxes, help teach them to make their beds, if younger make their bed, cook a meal for them, read with them, watch some favourite cartoons with them, invite them to pick and clean after their toys. Even if it is not everyday but let go of thinking your survival as a parent is mainly because of their nanny.

You are more than capable to take the control some days even if its not everyday. You can even choose one day a week and do things for your children and make it special. Remember they are growing.

Children And Gadgets

First i would love to say how much i have missed you in this page and between work and pregnancy posting here became almost impossible with the fatigue. I will talk about my journey.

I have often found it so frustrating when the children sit on their cellphones or should i say our cellphones as parents. Have'nt you? What runs through my mind is when do they get to not self soothe boredom with gadgets.
Howeved i also think giving them a set time for it may really help so they can help picking their toys around the house and other things that create oneness in a family.

Family and Marriage

12 years and counting because God is faithful. I will not keep silent because someone needs to hear my words today. Marriage is not a fairy tale or a life of basket of roses everyday. It is not a life on scial media either but it is real life that you live everyday by choosing who you are in your marriage daily.

No one will ever have faith for you in your marriage except for you, not even your children. Your children will benefit after you sow the seeds of life into your marriage.

Love is not over night success but you purpose in your heart to do things deliberately/ intentionally daily. Your choices should reflect the kind of life you desire for your family and the generations to come. You have the power to make that choice and live it.

Butterflies and goosebumps will go and come but love will remain if you are both committed and its the full expressin of God's grace for each other.

What i learnt along our journey is that you will love and respect what you love. If you love your marriage you love and respect other married people. That on its own is a seed for your marriage because you are ending your last.

Lean on God, He is the author. As i write i am no expect on marriage but i have faith in God that oneday we will be the great grand parents who stillwalk side by side years from now. What a foundation for the children, the children's children and their children, further impacting others that come after you.
