Happiness and Joy are two different things. Happiness is temporary, whereas joy is long lasting. John 15:11 - These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. What are these things? Christ spoke about abiding in Him, cause when we abide we bring forth fruit that results in Joy, not mere moment of happiness. Joy remains in the midst of adversity but happiness is a moment, emotional and is fleeting. This year I choose joy, I choose to abide and I choose to have fruit that will remain.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and as you go through the hills and valleys that this year may bring, may you chose to abide in him that he will bring out the best you, to shine and bring forth fruit that will give you everlasting joy.
