I’ve been talking about boundaries with so many people since the launch of Nedra Tawwab extraordinary book, “Set Boundaries, Find Peace.”

Nedra posted this on her page and I wrote it out on the first page of my reflection journal:

“It’s reasonable to have limits around how you interact with certain people.
You don’t have to grant everyone an all-access pass to your energy. You can choose what limits work best for you. You can choose how you spend your time.
Self- kindness is caring for yourself by protecting your energy.”

I read this every day as a reminder so when I begin to be out in the world again, in person, I will remember my boundaries for protecting my energy and time.

I highly recommend this book. Nedra has changed the way I think about boundaries and how they truly are an integral part of having peace and feeling the power of choice, which is the only thing I can control.

Remember we always have a choice, and in our choice lies our happiness and peace.💜
