Botox is one of the most studied cosmetic treatments, yet myths are everywhere. When performed by a qualified dermatologist, the goal isn’t a “frozen” face, it’s natural-looking results that soften wrinkles while preserving facial expression. It can also help prevent deeper lines from forming over time, and stopping treatment won’t make your wrinkles worse, they simply return to their natural aging process.

🟥 If dermatologists gave out red cards, my whistle would’ve been working overtime. 😂⚽️
The good news? Most skincare fouls are easy to correct with the right advice.
Here we are watching the World Cup, seeing some of the world’s best athletes, and as a dermatologist, my eye couldn’t help but notice the Botox and other aesthetic enhancements that took some of these players from good to chef’s kiss perfect.
Although I can’t judge who played the best, I can judge whose aesthetic enhancement looked the best.
Many men think getting Botox will make them look fake, but it’s hard to deny the difference these enhancements have made.
Not only did they come to play, they came looking their best. Just another reminder that Botox isn’t just for women.

Today is World Skin Health Day.
This year’s theme, “Better Knowledge. Better Skin Health.”, reminds us that education is one of the most powerful tools for improving skin health worldwide.
Your skin is more than your appearance. As your body’s largest organ, it can provide important clues about your overall health.
Each year, more than 2 billion people are affected by skin diseases. While many are not life-threatening, they can significantly impact physical health, emotional well-being, confidence, and quality of life.
Knowledge helps us protect our skin, recognize early warning signs, seek timely care, and reduce the stigma surrounding skin disease. That’s why the World Health Assembly now recognizes skin diseases as a global public health priority.
This World Skin Health Day, take a moment to learn about your skin, protect it, and seek expert care when something doesn’t seem right.

🚨Breaking News:
Natural-looking results start with the right expertise. Always trust a board-certified dermatologist.
Today is World Vitiligo Day.
Originally established to bring attention to a condition often overlooked and misunderstood, World Vitiligo Day has grown into a global movement advocating not only for awareness, but also for the millions of people who experience bullying, social exclusion, psychological distress, and stigma because of vitiligo.
For many people, Michael Jackson was their first introduction to vitiligo. His highly visible journey brought worldwide attention to a condition that was often misunderstood, sparking conversations that continue decades later.
While research continues to advance our understanding of the disease and expand treatment options, one of the most powerful things we can offer people living with vitiligo costs nothing: compassion.
