I was the girl who waited till Monday… and then Wednesday… and then next Monday.
I was the girl who waited till Thanksgiving was over… then Christmas… then New Years.
I was the girl who chronically procrastinated taking care of her heath. It was never the right time, I never had the money yet, I never felt the motivation…
until I finally got sick and tired of being sick and tired.
When I got pregnant with my second baby, I was already 30 lbs over weight. I didn’t have energy to play with my oldest, who was two at the time. I slept way too much or way too little. I ate fast food multiple times a week. I was unhappy, self conscious and felt so out of control.
When I delivered my son, I weighed 95KG . I looked in the mirror and I didn’t recognize myself. I was so done with my own excuses.
I started my journey on May 14th 2020.
I was 13 days postpartum.
I wasn’t even cleared to workout yet… so I started focusing on my nutrition and water intake.
That first day, when it would have been extremely easy to procrastinate the start of my journey, I said NO MORE.
And I have not looked back.

Before my current weight loss journey, since having my second baby, I tried to lose weight multiple times.
The issue was; I always tried to take the “easy way out” and therefore, I wasn’t successful..
I googled how to lose 5 KG in a week.
I tried “the military diet”.
I starved myself.. and then binged.
I drank weight loss teas.
I tried everything… except to just USE GREEN DIET
I don’t know who needs to hear this… but losing weight is not easy. It isn’t easy if you do it properly.
But, it is worth it.
It’s worth it to learn the healthy habits.
It’s worth it to show yourself you can be discipled to workout regularly.
It’s worth it to learn how to fuel your body.
It’s worth it to lose the weight… and not have it immediately come back.
It’s worth it to show your kids how to be healthy.

I saw this on Pinterest and gosh, this could not be more true for me.
When I started my weight loss journey, after having my second child, I was in a dark place.
Honestly, I didn’t know what the first step was to changing my reality. So I just decided to start acting as if I loved myself and as if I valued my happiness… BECAUSE I DID!!!
I stopped putting things in my body that didn’t fuel and energize me.
I started moving my body everyday.
And then, after a couple months of focusing on taking care of myself physically… those habits started to translate to other areas of my life.
And now, nearly two years later, I make all my decisions based on self love, my happiness and desired reality.
