In the ancient times astrology was considered a science, until the XVII century it was called the sister of astronomy. And in those times every person who was involved in astronomy was also aware of astrology, for example Nikolay Kopernik and Johannes Kepler. People have always wanted to learn about their destiny and future and some of them believe that the star constellations and the position of planets can help them.
All people have zodiac signs and even those who don’t believe in astrology sometimes read horoscopes in newspapers or listen to them on the radio. But, I think this is only a way to entertain the audience and it has nothing to do with destiny predictions. Moreover, nowadays there are so many cheaters – people pretend to be fortune-tellers, lie to the others and even take money for that. They use lots of various things such as magic balls, cards or stones to make people believe in their words.

Astrology is a type of divination that involves the forecasting of events through observation and interpretation of the stars, the Sun, the Moon and the planets. It is often regarded as science, but a lot of people say it is opposed to the theories of modern Western science. People believe that sky bodies influence people’s lives and destinies, and they try to understand this influence and predict it.
