Fact. For some reason, there are many horror stories associated with the word "parabens". Allegedly, their presence in cosmetics is very bad, they can cause unpredictable consequences. Many manufacturers write in large letters on their jars and bottles: "organic", "paraben free." This is actually a marketing gimmick. To date, there is no serious research that would prove the harmfulness of parabens, and in the production of cosmetics they are used as preservatives. If the packaging says that the product is paraben-free, it just means that another substance is used as a preservative.

Myth. All cosmetics act exclusively on the top layer of the skin. Moreover, if cosmetics penetrated deep inside, it could be fraught with tissue burns. The fact is that the upper layers of the skin are composed of dead cells, which form a kind of protective barrier so as not to damage the delicate cells of the inner layers. If you want to get to the deeper layers of the skin, it is better to use hardware cosmetology.

We use cosmetics almost every day. Someone does daily make-up, someone uses only skin care cosmetics, or applies a cream or serum to prevent skin aging. One way or another, this is a huge industry, and there is nothing surprising in the fact that there are many myths about the benefits or dangers of this or that cosmetic product. In order not to take contradictory information on faith, it is better to check it.
