Taking a page from Julia Child and soaked a cheesecloth in melted butter and chicken stock (instead of beer) to keep my Turkey moist. Posting this turkey recipe tomorrow morning just in time for your Thanksgiving table

After the morning session at Passo Giau, The Dolomites in Italy, we started to head back down the mountains. I had noticed the light hitting the face of this church creating a spot light. It only lasted for a few minutes. I hurried up and grab my camera back out to catch this glimpse of light on the perfect spot at the perfect moment. ☺ This couldn't have been my favorite capture for the entire trip.😁

This 15-year-old girl lived in the Inca empire and was sacrificed 500 years ago as an offering to the gods.
She is preserved this well because she was frozen during sleep and kept in a dry cold condition at more than 6000 meters above sea level all this time. No other treatment was necessary.
Found in 1999 near the top of the Llullaillaco volcano, in northwestern Argentina, she was an archaeological revolution for being one of the best preserved mummies, since there was even blood in her body and her internal organs remained.
