THE MINISTER OF GENERAL EDUCATION AND INSTRCUTION OFFICIALLY HOSTED THE OPEINING CEREMONY OF INFORMATION TEACHNOLOGY PROJECT UNDER THE THEME: “EMPOWERING TECHNOLOGY, TRANSFORMING LIVES” AT ABYEI COMPLEX SECONDARY SCHOOL
Abyei- Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Minister of General Education and Instruction; Honorable Nyinkwany Aguer Bol officially launched Information Technology at Abyei complex secondary school.
The event was organized by BANBATT under the auspices of UNISFA and hosted by the Minister of General Education & Instruction; in his speech, Honorable Nyinkwany Aguer Bol addresses the audience that, Today marks a significant milestone in our school’s journey toward embracing modern technology and innovation in education.
The minister continued saying, to our students, this is your moment. The computer labs, Physics, Chemistry Labs, internet access, and IT training programs are here to open doors of opportunity for you. I encourage each one of you to embrace this chance, learn with curiosity, and let your creativity and innovation shine. Remember, the skills you acquire today will pave the way for a brighter future tomorrow.
The world is advancing rapidly, and technology has become an essential part of our daily lives. By launching this project, we are taking a bold step to prepare our students for the opportunities and challenges of the digital age. He further assures the crowd that; This initiative would not have been possible without the dedication and support of many individuals and organizations. The minister expresses his heartfelt gratitude to the BANBATT in-partnership with UNISFA. Your vision and generosity have enabled us to provide our students with access to tools and knowledge that will empower them to compete globally.
