Testicular pain can have several causes, from infections to traumatic injuries. Sometimes, testicular pain can be a medical emergency.

1. Epididymitis

Epididymitis is an infection of the epididymis, which is the organ where the s***m mature before exiting the body.
Symptoms of epididymitis can include:

Sexually transmitted infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea, can cause epididymitis. Urinary tract infections can also lead to epididymitis.
Doctors usually treat the condition with antibiotics.

2 .Hernias

Hernias occur when tissue pushes through a weak part of the abdominal muscles. An inguinal hernia is one type of hernia that can push into the sc***um, causing testicular pain and swelling.
Doctors may be able to reduce or push an inguinal hernia back into place. If this is ineffective, they can correct the hernia with surgery.

3 .Kidney stones

Kidney stones can cause pain that radiates to the testicles. Doctors call this referred pain, where the pain occurs beyond the area that is causing the problem.

5 .Testicular torsion

Testicular torsion is a serious medical condition that occurs when the testicle twists around the s***matic cord. The s***matic cord carries s***m from the testicles to the urethra.
Typically, testicular torsion is a condition that is more common in young men, usually those under age 25 years.
Symptoms that doctors associate with testicular torsion include:

nausea

redness or darkening of the sc***um

sudden, severe pain that occurs on one side of the sc***um

swelling in the sc***um

vomiting

The pain from testicular torsion is not always sudden. Some people with this condition experience pain that slowly worsens over several days.
According to the American Urological Association, testicular torsion typically occurs on the left side more than the right.
Treatment involves surgery to correct the testicular twisting. In rare cases, if a surgeon cannot repair the torsion, they may remove the testicle.
Usually, testicular torsion only affects one testicle, so removing it does not affect a person’s fertility.

6 .Testicular tumor

A testicular tumor can cause pain and swelling in the testicular area. Other symptoms may include:

a dull ache in the groin

a lump in the testicle

testicular swelling

Symptoms of a testicular tumor can resemble several other conditions that affect males, such as inguinal hernias and epididymitis. A doctor can help diagnose the tumor or other underlying condition.

7 .Trauma

A blow to the testicles can cause bruising, pain, and swelling. A testicle can also rupture or develop a hematocele. A hematocele occurs when blood pools around the testicle and presses on it, affecting blood flow.
If a person has experienced a blow to the testicles and is experiencing pain and swelling, it is best to seek urgent medical attention.

8 *_Varicoceles_*

Varicoceles are abnormally large or twisted veins in the testicles. Sometimes, varicoceles do not cause any symptoms.
When they do, a person may notice testicular pain that gets worse with physical activity or over the day. Varicoceles may also affect a person’s fertility.
Doctors do not know what causes varicoceles, but they can usually treat them with surgery.

You've just eaten a big meal and feel a burning sensation in your chest. Heartburn, right? Probably, but there's a chance the chest pain is caused by reduced blood flow to your heart (angina) or an actual heart attack.

Heartburn, angina and heart attack may feel very much alike. Even experienced doctors can't always tell the difference from your medical history and a physical exam. That's why, if you go to the emergency room because of chest pain, you'll immediately have tests to rule out a heart attack.

_*What's the best thing to do if you have chest pain and you're not sure what's causing it?*_

If you have persistent chest pain and you aren't sure it's heartburn, Call emergency medical help.

_*What signs and symptoms are more likely to occur with a heart attack than with heartburn?*_

The "textbook" heart attack involves sudden, crushing chest pain and difficulty breathing, often brought on by exertion. Many heart attacks don't happen that way, though. The signs and symptoms of a heart attack vary greatly from person to person. Heartburn itself can accompany other symptoms of heart attack.

_*Typical heart attack signs and symptoms include:*_

• Pressure, tightness, pain, or a squeezing or aching sensation in your chest or arms that may spread to your neck, jaw or back

• Nausea, indigestion, heartburn or abdominal pain

• Shortness of breath

• Cold sweat

• Fatigue

• Lightheadedness or sudden dizziness

The most common symptom of heart attack for both men and women is chest pain or discomfort. But women are more likely than men to experience some of the other symptoms, such as jaw or back pain, shortness of breath, and nausea or vomiting. Heart problems are more common among people who have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol. Smoking and being overweight are other risk factors.

_*Can other digestive symptoms cause chest pain?*_

A muscle spasm in your esophagus may cause chest pain similar to that of a heart attack. The pain of a gallbladder attack also can spread to your chest. With gallbladder disease, you may notice nausea and an intense, steady ache in the upper middle or upper right abdomen — especially after a fatty meal. The pain may shift to your shoulders, neck or arms. Again, if you are not sure seek medical attention immediately.

When and how often should you brush your teeth?

The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste for two minutes each time.
When you brush your teeth, you help remove food and plaque — a sticky white film that forms on your teeth and contains bacteria. After you eat a meal or snack that contains sugar, the bacteria in plaque produce acids that attack tooth enamel.

Eventually, the acid can break down tooth enamel, causing cavities. Plaque that isn't removed can also harden into tartar, making it harder to keep teeth clean. Tartar buildup on your gums leads to inflammation that causes gum disease.
In choosing when to brush your teeth, you might also consider your diet. If you've eaten an acidic food or drink, avoid brushing your teeth right away. These acids weaken tooth enamel, and brushing too soon can remove enamel.
If you have arthritis or have difficulty holding a toothbrush, consider buying an electric or battery-operated toothbrush. These have been shown to remove plaque better than manual toothbrushes.
Besides brushing your teeth, to keep your mouth healthy, do the following:

Floss daily.

• Use mouthwash after brushing and flossing.

• Drink plenty of water.

• Eat a healthy diet and limit sugary food and drinks.

• Avoid frequent snacking.

• Replace your toothbrush every three to four months, or sooner if the bristles are irregular or splayed.

• Schedule regular dental checkups with X-rays and cleanings.

*_👉What is an ulcer?_*

Ulcers are sores on the lining of your stomach or small intestine. Sore also could be on your esophagus (throat). Most ulcers are located in the small intestine. These ulcers are called duodenal ulcers. Stomach ulcers are called gastric ulcers. Ulcers in the throat are called esophageal ulcers.

*_👉Symptoms of an ulcer_*

Common ulcer symptoms include:

-Discomfort between meals or during the night (duodenal ulcer)

-Discomfort when you eat or drink (gastric ulcer)

-Stomach pain that wakes you up at night

-Feel full fast

-Bloating, burning or dull pain in your stomach

-Comes and goes days or weeks at a time

-The discomfort lasts for minutes or hours

-If your ulcer becomes perforated (torn), it becomes a bleeding ulcer. This can cause the following symptoms:

-Nausea

-Vomiting blood

-Unexpected weight loss

-Blood in your stool

-Pain in your back

_*👉What causes an ulcer?*_

Most ulcers are cause by Heliocobacter pylori (H. pylori). This is a bacterial infection. Acids from the foods we eat can make the pain and discomfort worse. Long-term use of aspirin or anti-inflammatory medicines (ibuprofen) can cause ulcers. Stress and spicy foods can make an ulcer worse.

_*👉How is an ulcer diagnosed?*_

Your doctor will ask you about your symptoms. He or she may do an endoscopy. This procedure involves inserting a thin, flexible tube attached to a camera down your throat and into your stomach. Your doctor will test your blood, breath or stool for H. pylori. He or she also can test a sample of your stomach lining. Your doctor also will ask you if you regularly take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medicines.

_*👉Can an ulcer be prevented or avoided?*_

You cannot prevent an ulcer caused by an H. pylori infection. However, you can reduce your risks by limiting aspirin and anti-inflammatory medicines. Avoid foods that are acidic (orange juice) and spicy to reduce discomfort. Avoid caffeine and alcohol.

*_👉Ulcer treatment_*

Your doctor will give you an antibiotic medicine to treat an H. pylori infection. You will have to take it for two to three weeks. Your doctor also might suggest triple therapy. This is a combination of an antibiotic and an antacid (Pepto-Bismol). Your doctor might suggest medicines to reduce stomach acids. You may have to take these for up to 8 weeks. Several other medicines can be used to help treat ulcers. Two types of medicines (H2 blockers and proton pump inhibitors) reduce the amount of acid that your stomach makes. Over-the-counter antacid medicine provides temporary relief. Smoking and alcohol make the discomfort worse. In severe cases, you may need surgery. Ulcers get worse without treatment. If aspirin and anti-inflammatory medicine irritates your stomach, your doctor may suggest the medicine, misoprostol.

*_Living with an ulcer_*

If you have an ulcer, avoid the things that make your ulcer pain worse. This means to avoid spicy foods, alcohol and smoking. If you have to take aspirin or ibuprofen for chronic pain, talk to your doctor. He or she may suggest an alternative. Keep your diet balanced. Try eating small, frequent meals when you’re having ;-
