🚨NAIL CARE 101🚨
How long do Acrylics last?! (READ CAPTION)
Well P.U.R.E babies, how long your sets last are solely UP TO YOU‼️ Remember, your nails are jewels NOT tools; and no matter how strong you think your nails are, THEY WILL NEVER be as strong as everyday life. Sometimes, a nail will break and you don’t even notice it!
Here’s a few tips on how to care for your acrylics and possibly prevent breakage!
💚 Visit a trusted nail tech. DO YOUR RESEARCH‼️
💜 ALWAYS! ALWAYS! ALWAYS! Wear gloves when dealing with harsh chemicals. (Cleaning, washing clothes etc.)
💚 DO NOT pick, peel, bite, bang, tap, lift heavy objects, open containers and/or cans with your enhancements! YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR NATURAL NAILS‼️
💜 AVOID ⚠️ alcohol based products that will dry out your skin and nails. Such products makes our hands look less appealing and yes you got it, can lead to damage of the natural nails and lifting of your nail enhancements.
💚 DO NOT submerge your acrylics or gels in water OR chemicals WITHOUT gloves!
💜 AVOID ⚠️ acetone unless you’re getting a soak off
💚 MORE SOAK OFFS less PEEL OFFS‼️ Y’all are really damaging your natural nails that way.
💜 APPLY cuticle oil and a good hand moisturizer DAILY‼️ (preferably my products loll)

To that nail tech who’s extremely hard on themselves; pray, breathe, and give yourself some grace. You WILL pass that exam!!! I know because I passed my practical today, and will officially be licensed soon!
Mind you, I failed the first time. Failed a second time because I was late, (beat myself up almost everyday )and waited a year and a half for the third time because life do be lifinggggg! I went in nervous and left out more confident! Trust the process and appreciate YOUR journey, because one day it will be your testimony. Don’t compare yourself and pop your s**t when it’s YOUR time! No need for good luck, it’s already YOURS! I hope each individual on my TL have an amazing kickoff to 2024!! 😘
