I’m only halfway through the interview but it’s looking like
THIS IS THE MONIQUE ANYONE CAN APPRECIATE AND SUPPORT!
I have been calling ’Nique for that SugarPieHoneyBunchesofOats coated voice she uses to be passive-aggressive and condescending, BUT she was an inspiration when I wanted to do standup.
I applauded her standing for her family & not going on the after doing . I DO wish she’d accepted the for not doing it as as she declined the offer to go to . I do wish she hadn’t equated being harassed about doing a tour to being sexually mistreated! (I can relate to some forms of manipulation feeling dirty, though.)
I dislike that she asked people to boycott after being lowballed on the notion of racial & gender bias when other African-Americans, including women, are getting paid opportunities on the platform.
I WISH she’d gone to and said this is what a does with her time, talent and resources instead of getting tongue-tied talking w/“Daddy.”
I STOOD WITH MO’NIQUE’S DEMAND FOR EQUALITY. I WILL ALWAYS STAND WITH MY SISTERS, ALL WOMEN WHEN THEY AREN’T ON THE TRACKS, but when a train comes I’m gon yell !
