After waxing, your pores are open and your skin is more sensitive. Working out too soon can cause irritation, breakouts, and ingrown hairs due to sweat, heat, and friction.

For best results, avoid exercise and excessive sweating for at least 24 hours after your wax. This gives your skin time to calm and properly heal.
