After wrapping up one of our biggest camps of the summer in Shiprock, our East Team was back on the road to Tohajiilee for another two days of running, fitness, and leadership activities.

Back-to-back camps are no easy task, but our facilitators continue to show up with the same energy and enthusiasm for every community they visit. Their dedication to serving Native youth is what keeps Wings moving all summer long.

Thank you to all of the youth, families, and community members who joined us in Tohajiilee. We loved spending time with your community and appreciate everyone who helped make this camp a success.

We'll see you again soon!

SHIPROCK CAMP @ SHIPROCK HIGH SCHOOL πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

What an incredible two days in Shiprock!

Both our East and West Teams came together at Shiprock High School to welcome one of our largest groups of campers this summer. It was amazing to see so many youth show up ready to run, learn, and challenge themselves.

Throughout the camp, participants took part in running and fitness activities, team games, leadership lessons, and learned how movement and wellness can support them both on and off the trail.

A huge thank you to Shiprock High School, our community partners, and all of the families who made this camp possible. And to our facilitatorsβ€”thank you for bringing your energy and passion to every activity. Your dedication is what makes camps like this so special.

Thank you, Shiprock, for an unforgettable camp. We can't wait to see you again!

Meet our 2026 Wings of America Head Facilitators!

For the past month, these four young leaders have been leading Running & Fitness Camps across Native communities, helping create safe, welcoming, and memorable experiences for hundreds of Native youth.

Head Facilitators are selected for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to the Wings mission. Throughout the summer, they mentor fellow facilitators, help coordinate camp operations, build relationships with community partners, and support their teams both on and off the field.

Today, we're excited to officially introduce Kameron Eustace, Bearren Kee, Glendale Allen, and Kyle Awelagte. Each brings their own story, experiences, and passion for giving back to Native youth.

Swipe through to learn more about what inspired them to become Head Facilitators, what they hope campers take away from this summer, and the impact they're making in communities across Indian Country.

Thank you, Kameron, Bearren, Glendale, and Kyle, for your leadership, dedication, and for inspiring the next generation of Native runners and leaders. 🧑

MONTEZUMA CREEK CAMP @ WHITEHORSE HIGH SCHOOL πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

After wrapping up camp at Ojo Encino Day School, our East Team hit the road and headed north to Montezuma Creek, Utah for another two days of running, fitness, leadership, and fun at Whitehorse High School.

While this was one of our smaller camps of the summer, the energy and enthusiasm from participants made it a memorable one. These camps remind us that it's not about the size of the groupβ€”it's about showing up for youth and creating opportunities in every community we visit.

A huge shoutout to our East Team facilitators, who worked back-to-back camps and continued to bring their energy, leadership, and commitment to every participant. Their dedication to serving Native youth across the Southwest is what makes these camps possible.

Thank you to Whitehorse High School and the Montezuma Creek community for welcoming us. We hope to see you again soon!
