A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent messages and prayers while Bbeautiful has been closed. I wanted to update you all as the holiday season approaches and plans need to be made. At this time, the salon is closed indefinitely, allowing me to focus on my family and personal healing journey. Sometimes, life's challenges prompt us to reevaluate our paths and seek new understanding. I've come to realize that I've been seeking more time for myself, and this break has given me the opportunity to rediscover my priorities. As a hairstylist, I've dedicated 25 years to my clients, and while I've loved every moment of making you feel beautiful and seen, I've come to realize that it's time for me to focus on myself. Since February, I've been navigating a new normal after surgery and a car accident, and I've come to accept that some things will never be the same. I'm embracing this transformation and taking the time to heal and recharge. I care deeply for each of you and am grateful for the trust you've placed in me. I'm excited for this new chapter and the opportunities it will bring. 🙏❤️

Salon update :

Many of your have been asking what’s going on, and why my booking site is closed, etc.

Due to the recent accident my daughter and I were in, l've suffered multiple compression fractures in my spine. These injuries require a great deal of care, rest, and TIME to heal.
As part of my recovery plan, I am required to wear a cervical collar/thoracic brace for several hours each day to ensure proper spinal support.
I am also undergoing physical therapy and strictly following my doctors' orders to give my body the best chance at a full recovery.

As the accident is now a legal matter
I'm unable to share further details at this time. I truly appreciate your understanding and respect for my privacy.

While the salon is temporarily closed, I understand that many of you still want to maintain your hair color in the meantime — especially when it comes to covering gray.
Like I did during the COVID shutdown, I am offering custom color kits for at-home use.
These kits will be personalized to your formula and come with everything you need to safely touch up your roots until l'm able to see you again. If you're interested in purchasing one, please feel free to reach out by texting me.

Closing the salon, even temporarily, has not been an easy decision.
I miss doing what I love and, most of all, seeing all of you.
But focusing on healing now will allow me to return fully and safely — ready to give you the quality care and service you deserve.

I'll continue to keep you posted through email and social media, and I'll notify you as soon as I have a timeline for reopening. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and kindness — it means the world to me.

My daughter and I were involved in a serious car accident. We have been released from the hospital and are home recovering from injuries.
I will be having follow up appointments with various doctors in the coming weeks.
At this time, I am unable to take appointments, as I am unsure when I will be able to start working again.

I wanted to give you all an update regarding my surgery and recovery. The GREAT news is that my surgery was successful and I am not in pain! I had two disc replacements and one disc fusion, which will give me more mobility in the long-term! I recently had my follow up with my doctor and he emphasized the importance of adhering to his guidelines in my healing process. I need to continue to wear my neck brace almost 24 hours a day. He also extended the time that I will be unable to drive and work, which means I will not be able to start seeing clients on March 24th, as I had originally planned. If you already have an appointment scheduled between March 24th and April 6th, please contact me to reschedule.

I cannot thank you all enough for your patience and understanding through my many months of pain and in the post-surgery healing process. I am beyond excited to be back on my feet, doing what I love, and spending some quality time with each and every one of you! Thank you again for being the best clients I could ask for and for all of your love and support!

Just a friendly reminder. My books close on February 21 and will not reopen until after my surgery.
First day back to work will be 24 March. So if you’re having problems booking appointments, that’s why.

Update :

As many of you know, I have been struggling with severe cervical spinal stenosis that has progressed to the point of imminent need for surgical intervention. I will be undergoing surgery on February 24th with an amazing neurosurgeon who has assured me that this will give me my life back. While there will be a recovery period, in addition to the need for physical therapy, I will be “BACK” and better than ever.

I cannot thank all of you enough for your immense patience, grace, and flexibility as I have struggled with the effects of my condition for some time. Beginning at the end of March, I will open booking capability via my website. Please note, it will begin with limited spots that will increase per my doctor’s guidance.
