Blondes will always be one of my favorite things to do behind the chair, and it’s because there are SO many ways to make blonde your own! 🤍

Blonde isn’t just blonde. It can be warm and golden, cool and icy, creamy and beige, bright and bold, or soft and natural. You can go heavy with the foils for a brighter, blonder look, or keep it light with just enough highlights to give your hair a little pick me up.

And let’s talk about the difference between a partial and a full highlight!

A partial highlight focuses on specific areas of the hair, usually around the face, top, and crown. It can brighten up your whole look without highlighting every section of your head. It’s great for adding dimension, brightening up your face, blending a little gray, or maintaining that blonde you already love.

A full highlight works throughout more of the head, including the underneath sections, for an overall brighter result.

But here’s the thing! A partial doesn’t mean you’re getting less beautiful results. Depending on your starting color, placement, and the look you’re after, a partial can give you all the brightness and dimension you need. Sometimes you don’t need more foils. You just need the RIGHT foils in the RIGHT places.

That’s what I love about blondes. There’s no one size fits all. We can customize your color to fit your style, whether you want to be bright and blonde all over or just add a little sunshine to what you already have.

The goal isn’t always to be the blondest blonde in the room. It’s to find the blonde that looks best on YOU!

Little by little, we’re getting this sweet girl back to her blonde. 🤍

She darkened her hair at home and decided she wanted to go back lighter, so we’ve been taking our time and doing it in sessions rather than trying to force it all at once. We’re two sessions in now, and she’s getting so close. I think one more should do it!

I absolutely love having her in my chair. She is just the sweetest, and I’ve really enjoyed getting her hair back where she wants it.

Fall must be on its way because the red and copper requests have officially started rolling in. It sure doesn’t feel like fall outside, but my chair says otherwise. 🍂🍁❤️‍🔥

Sometimes it doesn’t take anything extravagant to make a big difference. 🤎

So, we keep it simple. I did her retouch and added some caramel highlights to her darker hair. With her dark hair and dark eyes, caramel was the perfect place to start. On a first session, we can only lift so much, and honestly, she didn’t need blonde to make this look beautiful.

Blonde isn’t made for everybody, and that’s one of the things I love most about hairdressing. There are so many different colors, shades and tones to choose from that we can find something to suit every skin tone, personality, like and dislike.

Sometimes you don’t need a huge change. Sometimes a little color in just the right places is enough to make you feel different, refreshed and happy.

And that’s where having a hairdresser you can talk to makes such a difference. You can come in with an idea, a picture, or maybe just know that you want something different without really knowing exactly what that is. We can talk about it, look at things together, bounce ideas around and find what feels right for you.
