What a privilege it is to be so exhausted from fashion shoots with an iconic brand, travel from political campaigns, a parade of Halloween makeup and facepaint gigs, headshots and portraits.
I could complain or just take it all in and be so very grateful! I am so so grateful for this month’s abundance.
What a tornado of awesomeness October 2025 has turned out to be.

This look was created using water activated facepaint diluted and applied through an airbrush.

Hey local business owners, as an advertising professional, I know you make a huge investment to have your TV commercials produced.

So why is your commercial producer skipping an essential step?

What is this step they have left out you ask?

Let me ask you this... Would you meet your client having sauce from your lunch down on the front of your shirt?
Skip shaving all together? Expose a red rash on your chest?
Would you go to a meeting having just rolled out of bed, disheveled hair, dark circles under your eyes, wrinkled clothes?

NO! You would want your client to see the best of you and strive to make a positive, lasting impression, right?!

So many factors are at play here:
The camera’s eye is extremely sharp, often exaggerating things that you can’t see in person or in a mirror’s reflection.
Your director is concentrating on getting an optimal performance from talent amongst a myriad of things.
The photographer is making sure they get the perfect shot composition, lighting, color & balance while thinking about what’s next.

So when there is no makeup artist on set, these details in appearances sadly get over looked and the whole point of a TV commercial is having the face of your business BE SEEN! Please let your producer know and request me.
