A diagnosis isn’t the root cause.
It’s a description of what’s happening in the body.
SIBO, IBS, Hashimoto’s, fibromyalgia. These are names for patterns, not the problem itself.
Take SIBO for example. Bacteria didn’t just randomly end up in the small intestine. Digestion had to break down first. Low stomach acid, slow motility, poor breakdown of food, chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation. All of that usually came long before the symptoms.
Don’t get attached to the diagnosis. Get curious about why there is a diagnosis in the first place.
Treating symptoms alone might bring temporary relief, but real healing happens when we look upstream and address the why.
Your body isn’t broken. It’s adapting and asking for support.
70 percent of your immune system lives in your gut 🛡️
Most of your feel good neurotransmitters like serotonin are made there too 😌
Which means digestion affects way more than just your bathroom habits 🚽
We’re talking mood, energy, skin, hormones, sleep, cravings, and how well you handle stress 🌀💛
If your gut is off, you might notice bloating, breakouts, anxiety, fatigue, or feeling inflamed for no obvious reason 😵💫
When your digestion is supported, everything tends to feel more regulated and balanced ⚖️
Food is information 🍽️
But how well you digest and absorb it matters just as much as what you eat 🌿
Your gut really is at the center of it all ✨🦠
Experience the grounding, calming effects of my holistic facial treatments. Each session incorporates intentional, ritual based techniques like gua sha, facial cupping, and therapeutic facial massage to release tension held in the face, boost circulation, and support healthy collagen and elastin production.
I use only thoughtfully curated botanical and marine based products from Maya Chia to deeply nourish and restore the skin. You will leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and truly renewed.

Massage and bodywork will always be my first love. I will never forget the moment I knew this was what I was meant to do. I had tried the traditional college route, and at the time it just wasn’t for me. Many years later, I did go on to earn my BS in business and accounting, and I’m incredibly grateful for that experience and the knowledge I gained from it. It’s definitely come in handy 😉
Back then, I was 21, pregnant with my daughter, and finishing my personal training and nutrition course. This was all in person, Monday through Friday, 8–5. No convenient online classes. I was also cocktail waitressing at night and completely exhausted. The school I was attending had a massage therapy program and they were looking for a pregnant model. I had never had a massage before, but the therapist who worked on me was amazing. When I got off the table, I knew instantly. I remember thinking, yep, that’s it. This is what I want to do. I want to make people feel like this.
I enrolled the very next day. I went to school and worked right up until a few days before Eliana was born, then went straight back to finish. I graduated top of my class, all 21 of us 😂 and took my licensing exam right away. It’s been a wild journey, and nearly 18 years later, I still love this work. I love learning. I love applying new techniques and concepts. And I truly love the incredible people I get to meet along the way.
In 2013, I went back to school to become a licensed esthetician. I work so closely with the skin, and I wanted to understand it on a deeper level. I never expected to fall in love with skincare and facial massage the way I did, but it’s been profound and such an important stepping stone in this journey.
Now, as I add this next, deeper layer through nutritional therapy, my hope is to help clients learn how to live in rhythm and harmony with their bodies. Not fighting them. Supporting true healing and thriving at a cellular level through a food-first, lifestyle-focused approach.
I’m so excited to keep learning and growing, and I’m really glad you’re here.

Winter skin lineup and why I swear by it ❄️✨
Cold dry air and nervous system stress can do a number on the skin, so winter is all about barrier support, nourishment, and glow without irritation.
Here’s what’s in my current rotation and why:
✨ Maya Chia Straight A
This is my gentle reset serum. It helps smooth texture, brighten, and support cell turnover without stripping or stressing the skin. I love that it works with my skin, not against it, especially when winter can make skin more sensitive.
✨ Maya Chia Super Blend Pressed Serum
This is liquid gold. It’s packed with omega rich oils that deeply nourish, support the skin barrier, and calm inflammation. My skin drinks this up and stays soft and plump all day.
✨ Maya Chia Eye Achiever
The under eye area is the first place I notice dryness in winter. This keeps things hydrated, bright, and smooth without feeling heavy or greasy. Perfect for tired winter eyes.
✨ Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra Rich Cream
My winter seal it all in cream. This locks in moisture, protects the barrier, and gives that healthy glow. I use it sparingly as my final layer, especially on cold or windy days.
Winter skincare doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to be supportive, nourishing, and consistent. Think comfort, protection, and deep hydration 🌿
